Recently, there has been a lot of discussion about Pate's Grammar School changing the changing system for PE and games back to how it was pre-COVID. This system is more difficult, and opens a window wide open for people to lose valuable items of school clothing. The COVID system, wearing games kit to and from school and not changing at school, however, meant that students would come into school wearing games or PE kit, meaning that less uniform would go missing. It also meant that students got more out of lessons, by not having to spend up to ten minutes or more changing at the start and end of lessons. The COVID system, to some, also made packing bags a lot less hassle, as only one bag would have to be packed. Overall, the benefits of the COVID system far outweigh any downsides to it, and it is far better than the pre-COVID system.
