We want to help reduce the amount of plastic that reaches the ocean every day. 70% of our oxygen comes from plants in the ocean, so if we don't fix the problems we'll be putting ourselves at risk as well as the sea creatures. Millions of sea mammals and sea birds die ever year from ingesting plastic or being suffocated by it, hundreds of species will go extinct if we don't solve the issue. You can reduce the plastic you use by using bamboo toothbrushes instead of plastic ones,using reusable water bottles, bringing your own bags to the shops or by  using biodegradable or metal straws instead of plastic ones. We are trying to get plastic manufacturers and big chain shops to stop making/selling more plastic, so by signing this petition you will be helping us achieve our goals!
