By signing this petition, students attending the course Information Justice and Political Process declare that the exam on Friday 10th, 2022, has been designed without considering the following significant time constraints and course content aspects mentioned below.

Firstly, the exam left too little time to complete all questions sufficiently, considering the 6+1 questions with several sub-questions. However, according to collective students' insights on the impression of difficulty, the exam of 2020 was more effortless, and surprisingly, the time given to all students was 3 hours instead of 2 hours.

Secondly, the content that question 4 specifically touched upon was poorly discussed during meetings, leaving the majority of students in this exam with insufficient content to build on to complete the question.

Thirdly, by comparing the past year's exam (given to us as material to work on to this 2021/22 exam), it is evident that the conditions were highly different since the ability to make use of computers was an option and therefore made writing (using digital keyboards and tools like copy-paste) and searching for specific quotes and sources in the course content much more manageable.

Fourthly, questions in this exam, as specifically stated by the tutor during the course, were not supposed to be interdependent, although, in this exam, this was the case.

Considering these aspects, we would kindly ask for a reconsideration of the passing requirements.
