Ms.Weiller has been absent from class for the past 8+ weeks. We were never given an explanation as to why and have been given a new sub every class (no long-term substitute teacher). While we want to respect Ms.Weiller's time off, as we don't know the circumstances, we feel that the school and the district have been failing us in a way. We feel as though we aren't learning properly and that it would be unfair to be tested on material that has not been taught in a way that we have learned. We are asking for a pass or fail in the course due to the fact that testing us in subjects we haven't learned properly and aren't confident in seems unfair compared to other classes, in the same courses that have their teachers present, and have been taught comprehensively the material.
