We, the undersigned, believe all Massachusetts residents should have the same tuition rates for public colleges and universities, regardless of immigration status. The bill will benefit Massachusetts by providing our state with new tuition revenue, developing our workforce, and allowing eligible students to contribute to our communities to the fullest extent. The approximately 600 yearly undocumented students eligible are currently highly motivated youth who are barred access to higher education due to the high cost of out-of-state tuition rates.
