HR 4352, if passed, would correct the oversight in the 2009 Carcieri vs Salazar U.S. Supreme Court decision. If passed, HR 4352 would allow the Secretary of the Interior to place land-into-trust for EVERY federally recognized tribe, regardless of when they gained federal status.
