Kei Woodfin started this petition to Pasco County school district

As of COVID-19, both students and teachers have been struggling with the gross mishandling of remote learning and hybrid class integration. Many students are behind on work and are incredibly stressed due to the sheer workload given by the curriculum the Pasco County School District unnecessarily established for teachers and students to follow.

Many students are failing their courses and cannot keep up with workload being given to them, especially people who have mental conditions like autism and ADHD that impair their attention span. These students find it difficult to sit down and learn, write an essay, or do a tedious packet without getting distracted with something else.

Many people’s lives will be ruined because of the credits they will be missing to get into college. Students won’t be able to find a job that they enjoy, and will be forced to work at a dead-end retail job and barely scrape by. They won’t be able to maintain a family due to financial struggles, and they will be forced to live miserable lives all due to the fact that they couldn’t keep up with the mindless workload that they were given during a very conditional situation, absolutely decimating everyone’s grades.

This petition seeks to bring change to this potential future, and relieve some students in Pasco County of some stress and anxiety brought upon them during this happening.
