Is Pasco County, Florida Spending Our Money Wisely?

Pasco County has found a new way to tax residents called a Mutual Service Benefit Unit (MSBU). The County has found this an effective way to raise property taxes by whatever amount it desires one community at a time. Pasco is utilizing MSBUs to pay for storm drainage fixes, to purchase defunct golf courses and now is considering MSBUs for libraries and parks. We already pay for storm sewers, parks, libraries, and land acquisition. Where is that money going? This petition is to ask the State to audit the Pasco County books and make certain OUR money is being spent correctly.
