Stop Pasco County School Board from banning leggings!
This petition had 143 supporters
Leggings are a main staple in today's fashion and source of comfort for many students. School is a place of education and not a place where they can decide what we wear. We understand schools need dress code to remain appropriate, but banning leggings will take a step back in winning women's right to wear what they want without being judged. Leggings are worn because they are comfortable not for a sexual appeal. So why deem them inappropriate when young men can wear there shorts hanging off their hips and I can't wear shorts higher than four inches above the knee. We women dress for education not for boys. Do you think we want a boyfriend more than we want our education? Banning leggings will cause more girls to be dress coded and miss class, threatening our future and education. Help us stop this sexism in dress codes and schools by signing this petition and telling Dpbsc to not ban legging county wide.
