Due to this pandemic, the senior class of 2020 is being forced to have a virtual graduation or not have one at all. We worked our butts off, working hard to get to this point in our lives. We should be able to choose whether we have a traditional or virtual graduation, even if we have to postpone it. We should still get to choose how we conclude this monumental chapter of our life. We understand that we have to be cautious, due to the current situation, but we have lost enough already and it’s time we put our foot down. It is time to take a stand for what we want and what we earned. We will not back down. We will not vanish without a fight. We will not go quietly into the night. It’s our graduation, so it should be our decision. Sign this petition and help give the senior class of 2020 a voice against those who wish to silence us.
