We are in a climate emergency and also have a water crisis, a waste crisis and a plastic crisis looming. We need a City leader who understands the importance of all decisions impact on these issues and our everyday health. Pasadena has missed the goals of the Zero Waste Plan, they support oil and gas wells and fracking, they have ignored the water shortages, they just bought a new fleet of gas guzzling helicopters, are now buying a new fleet of fossil fuel guzzling cars and trucks and they want us to throw our organic waste in plastic bags to be shipped to a biodigester.. The Pasadena way is fueling the flames  of our extinction.  Tell Mayor Gordo and Pasadena City Council Members to hire a City Manager with demonstrated experience managing successful sustainability programs, climate action plans and decarbonation practices and add goals for the City Manager to grow a circular economy and move the city towards net-zero by 2030.
