Pedestrian footpaths needed near and around schools in Epping
This petition had 197 supporters
Pedestrian footpaths (and pedestrian crossings) are needed near and around schools in Epping.
Exposed tree roots, muddy, wet and slippery paths, and uneven ground make it very dangerous and difficult for students entering/ exiting their school/s, for parents pushing prams (and virtually inaccessible for people with disabilities). It has led to significant accidents, with cases where pedestrians have been hospitalised.
Epping Heights PS is just one of the many public schools that lack pedestrian footpaths on both sides of the road (at both front and back gates) for children, parents and staff to use.
So please sign the petition to be sent to Parramatta Council for proper pedestrian footpaths near and around our schools.
