I have family and friends that are in gay relationships. There must be given equal rights. Homophobia is for narrow minded people with no soul.

Lgbtq teens deserve to have some kind of support from the community. It is no longer a time where we should be hateful, 2013 should be the year of acceptance.

My god thats an offensive sign to Parramatta Council?? What is this? A religious based committee ? And thats really working out for the Church these days isnt it?! Shame Parra, step towards the present and know your people!

I am a queer adult who was once a queer youth.

This sign may have helped me had I seen it as a youth. I am completely and utterly shocked that they were asked to remove it.

I really believe that the mayors office needs to ensure all their staff undergo diversity training.

Twenty10 need our help, because they help young people at risk. It's disturbing that any representative of the council should take this action, whether it was approved by the Lord Mayor or not. The council's response to the complaints is entirely inadequate.
