We all like to watch a firework display on the 5th November..however for those of us with pets this can be a very stressful time. If we knew it was for only 1 evening a year we would have plenty of time to prepare our pets for the stress and fear and make provisions to ease this. At present they have to endure at least 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after!!! Its heartbreaking trying to soothe a frightened pet..and that's just the ones lucky enough to be in a loving family home with owners who care. Can you imagine all the animals that are lost..injured. wildlife who have no where to hide or nobody to soothe them???

By allowing fireworks to be used as and when people want to is in my opinion just cruel!!

My 3 dogs sit on my knee wrapped in a heavy blanket and they shake from head to toe whilst barking continuously ..they cry..they howl..and as an owner all I can do is soothe them and tell them it's all going to be ok..but after 4 weeks of loud bangs..screeching. .screams ..its NOT OK!!!.

NOV 5th is not Oct 16th nor is it Nov 9th,16th or 27th!!

The rules need to change and I'm going to do my very best to help do this.
