The accounts of numerous parties held at 10 Downing Street and the Prime Ministers  involvement have brought political standards to a new low .This goes beyond a minor political scandal as it has a long term impact in our Democracy .

A growing number of people feel that all politicians are corrupt and they are ‘all the same’ this is not only unfair on the many decent hardworking members of Parliament as it results in a general disengagement with the political process and opens the door to extremism.

The Prime Minister has organised an enquiry but this is being lead by a Civil Servant who report directly to him this enabling the final report to be edited and compromised .

This is a serious issue as these parties went against COVID restrictions  issued by the government which resulted in people being fined for similar activities .

Additionally to all of this many members of the public lost their chances to visit sick and dying relatives due to the restrictions whilst the government flouted the rules  .

The  excuse that they had all worked hard and they deserved a thank you is not acceptable .Our NHS staff ,teachers ,refuse collectors ,ship workers etc all worked hard too.

This is an issue for an independent enquiry leading to disciplinary action please sign this petition so we can restore integrity to our politics .
