WHY?

I think that the armed forces deserve reduced taxes as they all play a vital role in protecting our country and are willing to put their lives on the line to do it.

Another reason I think this is that, first off they are risking their life yet still have to contribute to their own pay for doing the job. I know that the armed forces are not the only form of employment that are contributing  towards their pay but as the primary force that is protecting us I feel like they should not have to pay as much for it. 

The third reason I think this is that for the job that the military does the pay is not very good but they are still expected to contribute fully towards taxes. 

My fourth and final reason for thinking this is in comparison the United States do not require serving personnel to pay income taxes. This would greatly benefit our troops as they would be able to go out and not have to think about how they are currently paying towards their own wages, but are still risking their lives.

Overall I think that the current conditions that the armed forces are facing in the United Kingdom is unsatisfactory and reducing the taxes for them would reduce quite a lot of stress and make serving your country a lot more meaningful and worthwhile.
