The malpractice of witch hunting is turning into a serious menace even in this 21st century. So many women and young girls have fallen victim to this sick malpractice. Lives are destroyed, their future gets doomed.

Sadly the law enforcement people also succumbs to such non-sensical superstitions and does not take any action against the perpetrators of this heinous crine.

Mostly a handful of people to meet their own personal vendetta or to illegally aquire properties labels innocent, deprived and unfateful women (mostly Dalits) as witches and kill them in the name of God. 

Surprisingly there aren't any law to protect these victims.

Why has the Indian parliament or the law commission been totally ignorant to enact a preventive and punitive statute against Witch Hunting? A much needed law in our country.

Sadly not only in rural areas but this malpractice is even prevalent amidst educated urban class.

We urgently require a strong law against this menace.
