I'm signing because the three months after the birth of a child is woefully and painfully inadequate for a mother and her child. A mother needs a year in my view to nurture and bond with her child

The baby needs to be with the mother more during this early stage of life. 3 months is inadequate.

Mothers need much more time with their new born. Hence, 3 months is definitely not enough time for a mother to leave her infant and resume work. Mother would not have even recovered properly from the trauma of child birth. Give mothers more time. Extending the maternity leave to six months will be a more reasonable option . Thanks.

I believe in 6 months exclusive breastfeeding, changing maternity leave from 3 months to 6 months will help achieve this.

Every policy maker is born of a woman. For country and what we owe our noble women, it is only in the interest of our future (our children) that we must do this.
