Event:

At noon on March 1st, members of Toronto’s downtown business community will be marching from Bay Street to meet at Nathan Phillips Square.

Petition:

We are members of Toronto’s downtown business community. We are a community who, as individuals and collectively, strongly value and support human dignity, diversity and inclusion. We are privileged to live and work in Canada – a country that, in turbulent times, has sought to remain undivided and accepting, recognizing that our differences are our strength.

In light of recent events, including the travel ban, the attack in Quebec City and the harassment of religious minorities in Toronto, it is important that we stand together against those actions that reject our core values of human dignity, diversity and inclusion.

We call upon Prime Minister Trudeau and all of our political leaders to continue to pursue and support inclusivity and stand against actions that undermine or attack the fundamental principles that unite us as Canadians.
