Cannabis, marijuana or just weed in general is a misunderstood and stereotyped PLANT. Cannabis was made illegal in the UK in 1928 as part of the dangerous drugs act of 1920. The frug has been proved many times that it is not dangerous and had many medical benefits, it was made illegal with barely any evidence of violence. Alcohol is a much more dangerous drug than weed yet it is still legal, how is this fair? The answer is it’s not, with quarantine and corona virus people are going insane in their own homes istg little to no contact with the outside world, weed would benefit everyone, the government could tax it and make money, more job opportunities could open up, completely new industries would emerge and addictions could be battled with weed. Honestly on a personal level, this would help so many people and there isn’t a reason to keep it illegal, I think we all need a break and this is the perfect opportunity for the government to profit. It’s just a plant that makes people happy, so let people be happy.
