Too many children in the UK do not receive justice when an adult destroys or takes away their life. Children are sexually abused through trafficking or by someone who is supposed to love and protect them. Children are killed at the hands of their parents, their parents latest partner or a family friend, and yet our current judicial systems allows judges to pass lenient sentences, with those responsible released after just a few years.

These poor little darlings that are supposed to be loved and cherished have to live through the unthinkable memory that has deliberately taken away their innocence, that’s if they are lucky enough to have survived. Too many children die at the hands of these vile individuals or groups.

Our judicial system needs to change NOW! The UK needs to establish harsher sentences to protect our children. Your financial position in life, or your parents status should have no influence over justice. If you harm a child then your sentence needs to reflect the pain and destruction that you have caused and the crime you have committed.

If you sexually abuse a child, deliberately reduce the child’s mental or physical capacity, or kill a child then you should be sentenced for at least 15 years imprisonment.
