Kirstin Cohen started this petition to Parliament and

So we all know the MP’s are putting up their wages each year more than everyone else, and the average MP is on £79,468 (as of April 1st 2019), up 2.1% from the year before, £77,379, yet the NHS funding in 2017/18 overall was £125b and hopefully rising to £145b by 2025, that isn’t enough because the NHS are vastly understaffed, haven’t enough resources to go round and the waiting times for an ambulance or a nurse is well in excess of the standard seeing hours. The aim of this petition is to decrease the MP’s wages to £60k per year, money that’s saved to be put into the NHS and all the money that’s unnecessarily spend to be put into other public services.
