معًا لمنع قتل الكلاب السائبة في تونس

We deplore the situation in Tunisia. The slaughter of stray dogs continues in most municipalities. Animals, for lack of a comprehensive sterilization policy, proliferate and die in the streets for lack of care. Cases of ill-treatment and torture go unpunished. Associations and shelters can no longer cope!
In the Tunisian penal code, there is no law to protect stray animals and other species.
Article 317 of the Tunisian penal code provides for 15 days of imprisonment and a fine of 4.80 dinars (i.e. 1.46 euros) for those who mistreat pets they own or those of a third party ].
Remember that other countries have made considerable progress.
In France, the penal code punishes anyone committing an act of cruelty or mistreatment of an animal with a prison sentence of up to two years' imprisonment and a fine of 30,000 euros. While in Germany, cruelty to animals can be worth up to three imprisonment.
We ask that the laws be revised and that the animals are protected.
We demand a law that tackles and severely condemns all abuse and mistreatment of animals of all species.
We aspire to a Tunisia where all the beings who inhabit it can live in complete safety.
so please , sign this petition and help us to set dogs free. THANK YOU
