Because of the stricter take on dress codes this year, Parkway North's cheerleaders are no longer allowed to wear their uniforms to school without covering up underneath. Wearing uniforms to school has been a tradition that's been going on for years, and this new rule hurts both the cheerleaders' and students' school pride and spirit. The cheerleaders and student body value this tradition, and every other Parkway school allows their cheerleaders to wear their uniform without restraint. This creates a severe equity issue, and we need to back our cheerleaders in this.
