Build an outdoor Parkour Park in Liverpool.

Parkour is now the UK's newest recognised sport and with this news there has been a massive increase in the number of practitioners of the sport. The lack of current facilities in the North West for new enthusiasts is worrying, as this puts them out onto the streets where they are putting themselves and the public in danger by practising the sport on obstacles that have not been conditioned for the use of enthusiasts. This creates a risk of damage to property and the potential of damage to a person.
As an active participant in the sport I understand the dangers that we face and the nuisance in which we can cause during our training. If we were to have a place that was specifically designed for our use, this would provide a safer place in which enthusiasts can practise their sport safely, effectively and prevents them being a nuisance to the public.
Parkour Parks have been a success in many places over the country already. They have provided many young people with the opportunity to get involved in the UK's newest and fastest growing sport. Parkour teaches you to condition your body and your mind, creates healthier lifestyles and better mental health, it teaches you to push your boundaries and has you constantly trying to better yourself. All of which are skills that can be transferred into adult life.
Please support our cause today, sign this petition and make a difference to the lives of so many young people!
