Residents of walkham meadows are very concerned about people parking on the junction of knowle terrace and walkham meadows at school drop off and pick up times , parking within the t junction itself , on a blind corner , and parking the wrong way up the street also blocking the entrance to residents drive ways and a public footpath , blocking the way for the residents that use mobility scooters and walking sticks . making them walk out into the road to get by.

  there is ample parking in the village but people who don't live here see fit to park illegally just to go and pick up their child , we have residents that require urgent medical attention , this type of parking will cause the road to become congested as it has been at times , so emergency services cannot get to where they need to be ,  it won't be long before someone (god forbid ) is seriously hurt or worse .... the local highways and council need to put in yellow lines or no parking signs  to stop this disgraceful behaviour by some who don't even live in the village .... please sign this petition and helps us to make our village a safe place ...thankyou ...
