You wake up early, drive to work and hope you are early enough to get a space on a road close to the hospital. 

You finish a 13 hour shift where you've been on your feet all day, it's cold, it's dark and you have to start the long walk to find the random street you parked your car in.

You reach your car and there is no one else around, it's quiet, eerily quiet, you feel scared and vulnerable.

This is the experience for the majority of staff at our hospital. Waiting lists for on site parking are 3+ years and longer and for most people they may not every get a space on site. For our hardworking Drs and Nurses who work day and night, they deserve the safety of parking on site, in a well lit area, not getting in early to get a space or leaving so much later after a long, dark walk back to their car.
