Staff Parking at the Nottingham University Hospitals over the last 5 years has been terrible, with staff not being able to park on site. Staff that need permits need this problem sorting urgently. 

Back in October 2022 we had an update about the new parking permits and staff would apply for a new permit and get an update if we would receive a permit by the end of November. It is now nearly the end of Jan and we haven’t heard anything.

During the winter months there are work pressures within the NUH and with the added stress of the parking permit not being resolved it adds further pressure on staff.

This petition is to make the NUH board realise how big of a problem the parking is at NUH and how many staff are affected by this issue. 

More could be done to update members of staff on how far along the parking permit allocation is in the process and how long it will be till its sorted. Staff were made to apply for a new permit back in Oct 22, with not even a cost of how much it will be and have had limited communication since then from NUH. Hopefully this issue will be resolved by NUH and staff can park at their place of work.
