Make Trinity village roads safer

Trinity has changed over recent years with new housing developments meaning more young families and more elderly residents living in the centre of the village.
This, combined with an increasingly popular village shop, means traffic has increased in the centre of trinity at exactly the time that more vulnerable pedistrians are using the area.
Excessive speeding is a frequent issue, especially along La Rue Es Picots, and La Grande Route de Trinite, with recorded speeds often two or three times over the speed limit, with no real way to police this. This is an accident waiting to happen, and especially more so now with increase in families and young children, who live in the village and who want to frequent the village shop.
We would like your support to implement a 20mph zone through the centre of the village, with traffic calming measures, and a pedestrian crossing, in order to make it safer for both motorists and pedestrians alike.
