Stop canceling events or forcing things to be done virtually. Many other events have been held in person without issue. It’s time to begin to return to normal.

I graduated in July 2020 with my Bachelor’s degree from FSU, we had a virtual ceremony. Got my $20,000 diploma in the mail a few months later. Then, September came and football is being played (obviously masks are optional) when we couldn’t have the option of a socially distanced, masked, graduation ceremony to recognize all of the hard work we put in for our degree! Not to mention it was a SUMMER graduation, so to begin with it was a smaller amount of people than a fall or spring graduation. I hope that this cohort of graduation gets better recognition that I did! Signed✅

If the football games can have full capacity seating, then students who have put their life and dedication into school should have the chance to walk the stage.

EVERYONE should get to walk. Especially if the school has the audacity to continue hosting football games, they can damn well ensure that a graduation ceremony that's safe.
