Covid19 has brought the entire world to a pause. Never in our wildest dreams did we imagine our children being ripped out of their preschool. As much as we all wished they would be able to return, on May 1st, Governor Cuomo announced that schools are to remain closed for the remainder of the school year. (2019-2020). As of May 5th, we still haven’t received an email from the school regarding refund information. I know plenty of parents that have reached out and have not heard back. It’s beyond frustrating during this time that we are being ignored. Montessori Childrens School has had plenty of time to make a decision. We want and deserve our tuition refunded. Im hoping this will help push Montessori Childrens School in Massapequa, NY, to do the right thing. We have been very loyal and very understanding.

*Also, some parents paid for March-June. Some didn’t. How is this fair?

update* 5/6/20- I was advised via email on 5/5/20 that we would not be receiving a refund for this year. The director of the school is claiming that the curriculum (worksheets) that her teachers are sending our students are apparently equivalent to the Montessori curriculum that we all signed up for. This is not the case by ANY means.
