Monday, August 3rd, the Milford school Board did not listen to the majority of parents,  students and the School Reopening Task Force and voted 4-1 to have Milford Schools go remote for the start of the 2020-2021 school year.  The result of this vote will have lasting effects on the quality of education and ability to provide special services in addition as will affect many student services including co-curricular and athletic opportunities for our students. The goal of this petition is to show the Milford School Board that parents wish to rescind the vote to go remote and go to a hybrid school model at the start of the 2020 2021 school year.  This will allow students to have some degree of a socialization and inperson education Day 1.  School activities and Athletics will be given an opportunity to be held.  School events will be allowable under social distancing guidelines and resources already paid for will be able to be utilized.  Please vote to recall their vote and reach out to the Milford School Board to show support to open our schools and recall the Remote Vote
