Stop KHSAA From Bullying
Does your child's State High School Athletics Association have the right to threaten your student's eligibility based on where they play sports outside of the school system? Do they legally have the right to put rules in place that limit the number of players from one specific school to play on other teams? Do you feel comfortable having the Board dictating what decisions parents can make regarding their children participating in athletics?
If you answered NO to any of these questions, we ask that you sign this petition demanding that Kentucky High School Athletics Association lift the restrictions that were added to Bylaw 9 in regards to organized Basketball.
Many teams will NOT be allowed to play based on these stipulations KHSAA has added to ByLaw 9. This is NOT the first time KHSAA has put rules in place that prohibited athletes to play with teams that have NOTHING to do with school sports.
Middle School football players were affected by the dictatorship of the KHSAA when they inserted rules that prohibited players to play little league youth football if they play middle school football.
This is BULLYING, and it has to stop! We as parents have to stand up for our children and BLOCK this rule! THERE IS STRENGTH/POWER IN NUMBERS!
