Over the last 2 years children have suffered immensely in their academic, social and personal lives due to the overwhelming regulations brought on by Covid-19. We, as parents need to start doing what's best for our children. We deserve to choose what is best for their health, their education, "their overall well-being". They are our children. Forcing these students to wear masks violates the rights of parents/guardians and should not be mandated by the school or government. 

This pandemic has been a challenge. Enough time has lapsed and vaccines are available. It is time to bring normalcy back to our children. 

Please sign this petition if you are in favor of masks being a voluntary decision for MASD students for the 2021-2022 school year. I am asking for your support on this issue so the school board can see how parents and members of our community feel regarding making masks voluntary for our children in school.
