If Bulloch County High school students wear facemasks throughout the day at school, they should NOT be quarantined if one of their classmates tests positive for COVID-19. Not only will this reinforce the importance of wearing masks all day, but it will also prevent students from getting further behind in schoolwork from multiple quarantines. We also want to help reduce the additional strain teachers incur due to so many students absent from classroom instruction.

 All students will still be given the option to wear a mask or not, but for those that choose to wear a mask throughout the day, they will not have to quarantine unless they have symptoms. This policy should apply to ALL high school students and if any student is currently quarantined, but doesn't have symptoms, they are allowed to return to school immediately if they wear a mask throughout the school day.
