I am starting this petition in order to reinstate Good Friday as a recognized holiday for our children in Anderson School District Two. As a Christian, this holiday is important and has always been given for the students. Christians are the first to take a hit because oftentimes we are complacent when things come against us. Politicians have already taken prayer, the Bible, and other Christian values out of our schools and look at the mess we are in. Protecting these holidays is one of the last things we have to honor our beliefs and it’s slipping away! Can you imagine if they took away other holidays and the uproar that would be at the district's front door? Well, it’s time for them to hear us Christians out!

In absence of Jesus we have chaos. It’s time to put our foot down and say NO!!!! We have to protect these holidays and honestly, we need to get Jesus and prayer back in the schools. 

Believe me, I’m not upset because we have some extravagant vacation plans. In all honesty, we don’t go anywhere during spring break and never have! We just want the time to be off and enjoy our family and take a reset with the Lord.

Please help me by calling the district office at 864-369-7364 and by signing this petition. If anybody wants to help me with this please feel free. We all need to band together on this along with many other things to take our communities and country back for Jesus!
