USD 411 Parents and Staff started this petition to Parents
USD 411 school district voted to make masks mandatory for the 2021-2022 school year. Area school districts including Hillsboro, Burrton, Newton, Wichita and many others are optional for mask wearing. 63% of USD 411 patrons responded to a survey that they were opposed to mask wearing. 75% of staff surveyed were opposed as well. This vote to mandate masks disregards the majority of parents, patrons and staff. We would like the school board to reconsider their decision and have masks be optional for the 2021-2022 school year.
