Create a Rule Regarding the Number of Tests that Students take Per Day and Week

As students go into Middle School and High School, stress starts to play a huge role in how students perform in tests and quizzes. With all the pressure of doing well in music, athletics, and exploring our interests as students, it is hard enough to get high marks in school. However, the problem is not because of the extracurriculars, but it is because of the number of exams that are given per week. Students on average are given many exams each week and it is starting to play a prominent role and how they perform. It is unreasonable to expect students to pass with flying colors and still maintain a healthy lifestyle when they have more than 3 exams on the same day, with the exception of final exams.
A few weeks ago, I had tests in English, Civics, Geometry, Algebra II, Science, and a chair seating for Band all on the same day. It is beyond reasonable for students with such a high number of exams per day to perform their best with all these conditions and also have them have a healthy lifestyle. Because students are so stressed out about the exams that teachers have been stacking up, their mental health is not as it was in elementary school.
This is why this petition must turn into a reality. If you agree that your son or daughter, or you as a student should not have to take more than 3 exams per day, with the exception of finals, due to high levels of stress and anxiety.
