Following the Ministry of Education and sports guidance in conclusion, schools are asked to refrain from asking parents to make double payments of school fees or repay the same fees that was not used as a result of the Covid-19 lockdown.

However, Seeta High School has continued to ask for the actual school fees of UGX 1,708,000/=  for the S.4 learners who had actually spent only 3weeks at school prior to the Covid-19 lockdown.

When learners were breaking off for the Covid-19 lockdown in June, the school issued a circular stating that students would not pay any extra fees when schools where opened for the academic year 2022. On the contrary, the school has issued another circular asking the parents to pay the same fees of UGX 1,708,000/=

This is not fair for the zero accountability of the last fees and in addition parents have been making a monthly payment of UGX 100,000/= for online classes for the learners.

Therefore considering the economic breakdown, it would only be fair if the school atleast asked for half of the fees . That can only be fair and favorable to Atleast 50%of the parents .
