Comments were disgusting and not factual. Being on a Board and using such language is not acceptable.

This is unbelievable. People need to learn what type of people are on these boards. Be aware people.

AS a former Board Memeber at an elementary school this conduct is exteremely arrogant. She get a vote and thats it. She should resign for this tantrum.

Glady signed... we've all had enough. To think, this women is "deciding" our children's fate based off her own hate and personal agenda. My/our children need structure, they need in person communication and they need to be around other children. Absolute disgrace to our San Diego youth and a wrong step on her behalf as we're trying to move forward in the right direction. Going back to work is not slavery, it's reality - REMOVE THIS WOMEN!

I'm signing because I live in San Diego and I'm SO tired of ignorant people claiming everything is about white privilege/ racism in order to shut down discussions they don't want to have/ silence voices they disagree with. Yes, obviously racism is real, but this isn't it. This board member is clueless, as since others have pointed out, it's the kids who come from privilege who are at an advantage during school closures due to their parents being able to hire private tutors, etc to fill in the gaps left by distance learning. I think all the parents in that school district should be sent video of the entire meeting, and if enough parents from the district want to see her go, they should start the process to get her recalled. It's about the parents and kids of that district...they should decide if she stays or goes. Maybe just the threat of a recall would make her rethink her position and pay closer attention to what parents of the district actually want. And the superintendent should admonish her to stay focused on that, rather than throwing in wild, baseless accusations of racism/ white privilege.
