Paramount Pictures acquired Spamalot. They were supposed to start shooting the movie this year however nothing has happened. Whatever the reason for this delay, many python fans are still backing this project and would love to see the movie. We are here to show our support and show paramount that people are still interested and want to see the movie. Let's get it made and show our support!

The film has screenplay by Monty Python troupe member Eric Idle, with songs by Idle and John DuPrez. The director is Casey Nicholaw, who was the choreographer of the original Broadway production. He has worked on this project awhile, and in the interim has become the hottest director and choreographer on Broadway. His credits include Book of Mormon, Aladdin, Mean Girls, The Prom, The Drowsy Chaperone and Something Rotten!
