Panasonic, release an HDR update for Netflix on the CX800 series TVs.

In early 2015 Panasonic released the CX800 flagship series of TVs with the promise of an upcoming firmware update to add HDR support. The update eventually arrived in June this year after a long wait with very little information about the delay from Panasonic.
Much to our disappointment, while the Amazon app got an update for HDR support, the Netflix app is still lacking HDR capability and the response from Panasonic is that they have no information about any updates for this. It appears that they are no longer interested in working on updates for last years TVs as they have provided no other reasons for the lack of this update.
Customers purchased these TVs with the understanding that they would be future proofed thanks to the upcoming HDR update. While Panasonic have technically kept their promise it's hard not to feel mislead when what many would call the TV's primary app, as well as one of the few sources of HDR content, has been omitted from the update.
The only solution currently available to CX800 owner who want to view Netflix in HDR is to purchase a 3rd party device which is not only costly but far less convenient than the built in Netflix app.
Please sign this petition to ask Panasonic to release an update for the Netflix app and deliver the full HDR compatibility we were lead to believe we would get when we handed over our hard earned cash.
