Decent housing should be a human and civil right. Shame of those who blind themselves to the basic rights of others to meet their own greed.

The destruction of yet another home, this time a handsome multi-family dwelling and garden, destroys the neighborhood and quality of life in Palo Alto. Can they not find some ugly concrete tilt-up building to demolish instead. Terribly disruptive to the evicted as well as the neighborhood, I hope that it can be stopped and the residents allowed to return.

It's outrageous that so many people in our community are suffering due to the lack of political will to work for affordable housing. No more offices until there is movement on the Housing front.

I am signing this petition specifically because we desperately need to prioritize Climate Change mitigation -- Affordable housing near all these Peninsula jobs is KEY to reducing the crush of commuters from elsewhere, and the consequent Greenhouse gases involved in destabilizing the Climate!

When will someone STOP the destruction of Palo Alto and causing people to leave just so the wealthy can become MORE greedy and pack as many people in here as possible?

Palo Alto is already overbuilt, with high traffic, a growing homeless population and folks forced to move out.

It is absolutely wrong and against PA's comprehensive plan to replace a dozen or more affordable units with luxury apartments and office space. We need housing, especially affordable housing. WE DO NOT NEED ANY MORE OFFICES.
