Stop Mrs. Major from being unfairly fired

After a student experiencing issues in her home life came to Mrs. Major for help she gave the student help, being a lending ear for a few months and providing her words of encouragement, something the school district wants teachers to do, she is now facing the school board who will determine her future with the school district. The girl was a pathological liar, constantly giving incorrect and false information, and given what the girl had said in the past, it was not reasonable to assume that what the girl had said was true. In that situation we believe she acted correctly, and may have been misguided in some of her attempts to help, but that even so she does not deserve the humiliation of being in the news and to have to fight to keep her job. Why would you punish a teacher for trying to do more for a student? What if we needed help? Are you saying that if we go to a teacher and things get bad for us it can lead to that teacher being fired? Don't fire Mrs. Major!
