Stop the Unjust Execution of Shafqat Hussain

Shafqat Hussain was only 14 years old when he was sentenced to death for a crime he didn't commit. A 'confession' was tortured out of him after days of being subjected to starvation and abuse.

He was accused of killing a 7 year old boy at the building where he worked, despite the fact that there was no evidence to link him to the crime. His age was ignored; instead he was treated as an adult.

Shafqat has spent the last ten years of his life on death row in Pakistan - almost half of his life.

A successful online campaign stopped his execution when it was announced in January this year, when thousands protested and called for an inquiry into the many miscarriages of justice in his case.

However, it has been a short reprieve for Shafqat. Despite promising to hold an inquiry into his age and the miscarriages of justice at his trial, nothing has been done by the Pakistani government.

Now, he is now due to be executed on the 19 March 2015 - less than a week from now. We must act quickly to show support for Shafqat and save an innocent man's life.
