They are planning to clear the land to build their ESCAPE theme park, forever changing the landscape of Cameron Highlands. The clearing of lands & chopping of trees will result in a higher temperature not just at the affected area but will be detrimental to the whole of Cameron Highlands.

Malaysians don't need yet another theme park. We visit Cameron Highlands to stroll within its tea plantations & tracks & trails. We love Cameron for its cool weather & to experience its old world charm. It's the strawberries & tea & scones that we're after, not some snowless ski slope!! If we want theme park, well go to Sunway Lagoon or Genting.

This theme park will be the LARGEST in Malaysia. Massive land area will be cleared, countless trees chopped down. The temperature will rise & environment changed forever. As it is, we don't have many cool climes in our country. And what's left is no longer cool, let alone cold. Genting is practically destroyed, no longer pristine. The same goes for Bukit Tinggi. Fraser's Hill is not far behind.

This need to be halted! It cannot be allowed to proceed! Malaysians need to band together to put a stop to this. We have nothing to gain with this theme park going ahead. We'll only face permanent lost of our beloved climes.

Only those greedy developers make money.
