We ask that the Minister for Education, Ms Sarah Mitchell and Minister for Transport, Mr David Elliott organise a bus for students from year 7, 2022 in Padstow South and Padstow Heights to have a direct bus to Menai High School.

We did not ask for the catchment area to be changed.

There are older siblings and neighbours who attend Picnic Point High School who have had a direct bus since 1973. 

The new students from year 7 2022, and those in year 7 2023 and so on will endure up to an additional ten hours of travel time and also entail crossing busy roads.

In the interest of their safety and equity to Education, please provide a direct bus.
