A very large skip bin is placed on the footpath by building management of 34 Charles street Parramatta. It is on wheels and recently crashed off the footpath and into a parked car.
The unrestrained bin could have easily hit a child or adult and given the damage to the car could have resulted in serious injury.
The Building Manager from Pacific Building Management Group does not believe there is a safety issue and has advised he will not take any remediation action. I believe our school children and general public deserve better as this is a significant public risk; evidenced by the recent accident on 29 September 2017.
