Our state parks are one of the few and perhaps only places in the state where one can truly find peace and a renewal of positive energy making for a more peaceful and positive community. They are a treasure not to be overlooked and should be guarded as such.
20 or so years ago my father took me fishing at raccoon creek state park. That day was the day I fell in love with the outdoors. We can't let Harrisburg underfund the DCNR they are critical to keeping PA beautiful. In my opinion they are under funding the hunting, fishing, and camping traditions my father passed down to me. And that's something we all need to invest in for future generations.
It is imperative that we save our parks for our children and grandchildren. If we continue to destroy them we will eliminate the natural habitat for numerous species of plants and animals. This will eventually lead to the extinction of many. We cannot allow this to happen!
