A number of customers of P&O cruises have extreme concern about going on cruises they have booked, however due to P&Os Terms and Conditions, once inside the 90 days prior to the cruise, customers have no choice to either go on the cruise or cancel and loose their money. In normal circumstances this approach is standard across the travel industry, however we are living in a pandemic. A number of travel companies are allowing their customers to be able to cancel or amend their bookings as close as 48 hours before they are due to travel, but P&O’s Terms and Conditions are as if COVID-19 does not exist in their world. 

We are asking P&O to reconsider their approach while there are still constant changes to the COVID-19 travelling requirements. Even if P&O just allow those who wish to cancel and provide them with Future Cruise Credit, this would be fantastic, however they won’t even do that! 

A number of people are wanting to cancel due to the COVID-19 cases rising in not only the UK but in many other places in the World, they are scared for their health and well-being, they do not wish to put themselves in an uncomfortable position which could result in them having to isolate in a foreign country if they tested positive while on board one of P&Os cruise ships.
